Is he just lucky or innocent?

We are finding out that the woman that accused DSK of the assault may not be the hardworking, upstanding victim that we once thought. The holes in the victim's credibility include lying on her asylum application and her relationship with a drug dealer. These revelations have led to DSK released on bail. Do I think she could have been assaulted...yes. Does this mean that the trial will be nasty and brutal? Definitely. Do I think people jumped to a quick judgement? Of course. I still believe that French culture does need to do some soul searching on the elitism of their public officials. This is a lesson that everyone, even sleaze ball bureaucrats have a presumption of guilt in a court of law.
